About The Position

A Part-Time (25 hours) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available splitting between two sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab departments located in Brattleboro, VT. Both locations are award-winning facilities and one mile apart. The facility is a busy five-star subacute rehabilitation facility with a beautiful rehabilitation gym. The 80-bed facility boasts a highly supportive management team focused on patient-centered care. The rehabilitation department prides itself on its Fun and Functional Therapy Program. Preferred Therapy Solutions is a therapy company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. They understand what therapists need to be successful and offer a healthy balance between work and family.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a 2 year accredited PTA program
• Passed state boards
• Hold a current valid VT PTA license or be eligible for licensure
• Must have SNF experience
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
