About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary practice in Myrtle Beach, SC. Part-Time or Full-Time opportunities available! Join a collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Nurse Practitioners, and rehabilitation professionals dedicated to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active South Carolina PTA license
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic or chiropractic experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching, balance, gait training, and functional activities
- Administer modalities including e-stim, ultrasound, traction, heat, and cold therapy
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Document patient progress accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
