About The Position
Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient therapy-at-home services to residents in assisted living facilities in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality geriatric therapy to help residents maintain independence and age in place. Therapists provide treatment under a plan of care and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team. PRN therapists work as needed and can choose which assignments to accept. Patients are treated in one location, without driving between homes.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Florida PTA license.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of clinical experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the plan of care.
- Help patients improve mobility, function, and independence.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the care team.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation.
