About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas – Riverpark is a 12-bed acute rehabilitation unit located in McMinnville, Tennessee. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for administering physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT), assisting in patient mobility and exercise routines, monitoring patient responses, reporting progress to the PT, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. The role also ensures a safe and clean environment for treatment and performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

• Associates from a PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
