About The Position
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Needed to Join Growing Healthcare Facility! Full Time - Monday through Friday No Weekends, Evenings or Holidays! Must have Indirect PTA License.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants in Pennsylvania
- Committed to the coursework/workshops required to maintain licensing
- At least one year’s experience working in a PTA role
- A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Assisting the resident Physical Therapist in all aspects of member therapy and care plan needs
- Providing interventions based on specific needs, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, ambulation and other physical assistance
- Monitoring and documenting treatments and interventions, ensuring all members of interdisciplinary teams have access to this vital information
- Updating Plans of Care based on progress and evolving needs
- Identifying areas for individual and group improvements and enhancements, and implementing new procedures and processes under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Developing group exercise programs for maintenance therapy members
- Aiding in in-home treatment programs, including goal setting and exercise, plus family and caregiver education
- Assessing progress and determining comprehensive courses of action to improve outcomes or maintain success
- Additional responsibilities as needed
