About The Position
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is a clinician-owned company that understands the needs of home healthcare professionals. We are hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve the Manchester residential area of Massachusetts. This role involves providing physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers. VRNS works with the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program, offering consistent patient scheduling with the flexibility and autonomy of home health care.
Requirements
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Be comfortable working independently while still being supported
- Afternoon availability

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes as directed by the supervising PT
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and activities to promote recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure high-quality patient care
