About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. Requirements

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
Flexible schedule

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an outpatient or inpatient physical therapy setting in long term care facility
Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and their families on proper home exercise programs and self-care techniques
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in the field
