About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for acute care on a PRN basis. The role performs physical therapy programs and treatments as directed by a physical therapist for inpatient and outpatient pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. It also provides employee and patient education as directed. The position involves educating patients and families and communicating courteously and patiently with patients, families, medical personnel, and others to provide quality customer service.

Requirements

• Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy, or a Georgia Compact Privilege issued by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of licensed clinical experience.
