Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Complete daily treatment documentation accurately and timely.
- Implement physician-directed treatment plans and monitor resident progress.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
- Report equipment concerns to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and discharge recommendations.
