We are searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to join our VNA Rehab team. This position covers a variety of towns starting in Dighton, Berkley & Taunton/Raynham area. The role involves driving to patient locations, with an average of 3 or more trips per week required.

Requirements

An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
Two (2) years of related experience required.
Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
CPR certification is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.

Nice To Haves

Home care experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Registered Physical Therapist, work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the person’s capabilities.
