About The Position

Provides various treatment programs and procedures in collaboration with supervisor and other staff therapists. The Physical Therapy Assistant will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
  • Must be able to perform all duties associated with the position of Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.
  • Must possess current licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • Must complete the American Heart Association’s Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.
  • Must possess or be eligible for Physical Therapist Assistant – Indirect Supervision License.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
