Physical Therapy Assistant, Licensed LPTA
About The Position
The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. Our rehabilitation programs at our Oklahoma City North Hospital provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a PTA program
- Eligible to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Oklahoma
- CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
