About The Position
Kindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 66-bed hospital offering extended recovery care. With 57 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we partner with physicians to provide 24-hour clinical care seven days a week. Our nine-bed ARU is designed for individuals recovering from acute injury, impairment, or illness. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility in Havertown, PA. This role is vital in making communities healthier by providing exceptional care.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
- Current PTA license in state of PA.
- CPR certification required.
- Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
