About The Position
Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist through performing treatment, communicating with the supervising PT and other health care professionals, and appropriate documentation. Participates in departmental/team/organizational quality improvement activities. Delegates appropriate tasks to PT technicians and supervises. Responsible for education of self, peers, patients, students, community members and assists with new employee orientation. Assists with or performs special projects.
Requirements
- High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Registration or Certification
- 10 or more years of licensure
