About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Physical Therapy Aide assists in patient care and provides clerical functions and general upkeep of the department. The role is per diem and part time, on-site at Virtua Health's Cherry Hill location, with additional locations referenced in the posting.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist with exercise programs and modalities as directed by the therapist.
- Maintain equipment and treatment areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform routine office functions, including phone calls, patient scheduling, and billing as required by the site.
- Coordinate patient lists and maintain department statistics.
- Monitor the department's environment of care.
