About The Position

This position involves directing the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention for patients. The role requires serving as a patient advocate to ensure physical therapy delivery meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards, while adhering to the department's and organization's philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies, and procedures. This is an open-pooled position, meaning applicants' education and experience will be considered, and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy or Doctoral from an accredited program.
  • Zero (0) years' related experience.
  • Texas PT licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE).
  • Maintain active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Approved by American Heart Association).
  • Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas.
  • Five years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients.
  • Provides physical therapy services under the guidelines set by the Practice Act and Rules of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards, while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.
