About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist for its outpatient center in New Milford, Connecticut. The center treats a diverse musculoskeletal patient population and a high volume of post-operative patients through relationships with local orthopedic physicians. Located below an orthopedic physician office, the 7,500-square-foot facility features a squash ball court, basketball hoop, Cybex equipment, and an open gym for functional training. The team includes three full-time therapists, one physical therapist assistant, and one certified hand therapist. The center emphasizes evidence-based treatment and aims to help patients return to athletics, work, daily life, and the activities they enjoy.

The position offers a salary of $85,000 to $100,000 based on experience, a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, and a student debt repayment benefit. Mentorship and orientation programs support the transition into the role. Monday-through-Friday scheduling is listed; PRN and part-time opportunities are also available.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current state physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain required corporate and clinical services training and comply with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
• Attend and participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.
