About The Position

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, helping them achieve the highest possible level of physical independence. Conducts evaluations and provides modalities and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients and is responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May orient and provide ongoing guidance to assigned staff. The role is with Piedmont Newton Hospital.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
Maintain current continuing education units as required by the State.
Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) through the American Heart Association.

Two years of experience.
