About The Position

The Physical Therapist (PT) will evaluate patient conditions and develop treatment plans to aid in their recovery. This role involves instructing nursing staff and patients' families on follow-through programs to sustain progress, communicating patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members, and assisting with patient scheduling and daily charge posting to patient records. The PT will also document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. All job responsibilities must be handled in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in South Carolina
Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in rehab setting preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient's condition and develop a treatment plan to help them get better

Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements

Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
