About The Position

LLA Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a clinic-based, part-time position. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Master's/Doctor's degree from an accredited college or university program of Physical Therapy.
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire).
  • Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire).
  • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by the governing body.
  • Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Compatible with company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload.
  • Document, monitor, analyze, and report students’ progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.
  • Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs).
  • Write educationally relevant therapy goals and relevant student information background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs).
  • Attend and report evaluations findings and therapy recommendations in family friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings.
  • Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families.
  • Maintenance and documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates.
  • Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.
