About The Position
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and provides physical therapy treatment in the inpatient department to restore optimal physical function and/or relieve pain. This is a PRN position with a starting pay of $48.00 per hour and requires Saturday availability.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Michigan.
- BLS card.
- Saturday availability.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Physical Therapy evaluations, determine whether PT intervention is appropriate, establish the problem list, and develop the plan of care, treatment frequency and duration, and treatment goals.
- Provide Physical Therapy treatment consistent with the plan of care.
- Re-evaluate, revise, or terminate the treatment plan and goals as necessary.
- Document treatment in the medical record in accordance with department policies.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, including Case Management, to support effective treatment and discharge planning.
