About The Position
Theracare is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to provide exemplary care to adults in a skilled nursing care setting. The therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment; relieve pain; and improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist works as part of a team, providing support and information within the Physical Therapy discipline. Theracare is an employee-owned Indiana provider of Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services. The organization emphasizes customer service and partnerships with nursing homes and schools. The position offers a dedicated therapy team, access to regional management support, and a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or an advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state license or certification.
- Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the Physical Therapy discipline.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
