About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to care for its diverse patient population at Sarasota Specialty. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility to suit the employee’s lifestyle. The role serves chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The Physical Therapist is responsible for patient management and for delivering, directing, and supervising care in an age-appropriate manner. Care must be consistent with the state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients and provide care in an age-appropriate manner.
- Deliver, direct, and supervise physical therapy care in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
