About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care to a diverse patient population. The role focuses on chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System. The therapist also contributes to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and PAM Health System practices.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
