About The Position
The Physical Therapist evaluates and assesses patient needs and formulates treatment plans. The role provides therapy services defined in those plans and works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff. The position may supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers. It relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, involves a variety of tasks, and requires a degree of creativity and latitude. The role typically reports to a manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Certification as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
