About The Position
HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist in Greenville, South Carolina, to provide patient-centered therapy in a welcoming facility alongside a collaborative team. The role involves assessing patients’ physical conditions, developing and delivering treatments to improve function and relieve pain, educating patients and families, documenting care, and coordinating with other healthcare providers. The position offers hourly pay in the mid-to-upper $50s.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility to obtain a license.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to improve functionality and alleviate pain.
- Educate patients and families about exercises, posture, body mechanics, recovery, injury prevention, home routines, and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
