About The Position

Soundly Speaking is the largest provider of Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy for the adult Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities community in Texas. We are looking for passionate and committed Physical Therapists dedicated to serving adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Houston area. We believe God has called us to serve the IDD population and lead our employees with kindness and honesty. Our mission is to provide needed and deserved therapy to every single qualified IDD adult in Texas while providing compassion for today and hope for tomorrow. Requirements

Ability to learn on the job and have the ability to utilize and augment the materials we provide.
Texas-issued Physical Therapist License.
Must have a valid Texas-issued Physical Therapist License.
Must be comfortable working with adults in their homes and/or outside of a clinic.

Responsibilities

Traveling to our clients’ homes and providing accurate evaluations and reevaluations.
Documenting evaluation visits and contacting families and case managers to share updates.
Monitoring Assistants as needed to make sure they can provide the highest quality service and being there to answer any questions they may have.
Provide high quality evaluations in the client’s home and communicate with families about the therapy sessions.
Provide the appropriate amount of supervision for their assistants.
Adaptability and teamwork skills.
Turn in paperwork in a 24 hour timeline.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations.
