About The Position

BHMG Outpatient Physical Therapy in Corydon, IN is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist. Baptist Health Physical Therapy is part of the outpatient services of Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), a comprehensive network including over 1,100 physicians and advanced practice clinicians across Kentucky and Indiana. The PT evaluates a patient's comprehensive healthcare needs in an outpatient clinic and implements an appropriate plan based on those needs, utilizing physician input, community resources, and the patient's support system. This role requires critical thinking for patient care, providing skilled physical therapy procedures and assessments, and instructing patients and their families on the plan of care. Electronic records will be used for documenting treatment and care.

Requirements

Current active or current temporary Indiana Physical Therapy License
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients

Responsibilities

Evaluates the patient's comprehensive health care needs in the outpatient clinic.
Implements an appropriate plan according to patient needs utilizing physician, community resources, and the patient's support system.
Utilizes critical thinking skills for the care of the patient.
Provides skilled physical therapy procedures/assessments.
Instructs patients and their families in the plan of care.
Utilizes electronic records to document treatment & care.
