About The Position

IU Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for its Physical Therapy team at Methodist Hospital. This is a flat-rate PRN position. The role provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury, helping patients reach their maximum performance levels. The Physical Therapist provides all components of direct patient care, including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel, and students, and participates in related activities supporting patient care, education, and department operations.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy, or a bachelor's or master's degree in physical therapy earned before 2016.
• For foreign-trained applicants, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the United States with coursework accepted as educationally equivalent by the Indiana PLA.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
