Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT).
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Follows physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
Establishes, assesses, and modifies realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals.
Oversees and evaluates care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA students.
Charts appropriately and timely.
Utilizes therapy software appropriately and accurately.
Exhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Assists in the evacuation of patients.
Demonstrates dependable, regular attendance.
Concentrates and uses reasoning skills and good judgment.
Communicates and functions productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Sits, stands, bends, lifts, pushes, pulls, stoops, walks, reaches, and moves intermittently during working hours.
Reads, writes, speaks, and understands the English language.
