About The Position

This role is for a Physical Therapist (PT) within an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, distinct from contract therapy companies. The therapy teams are clinician-led and clinician-supported, allowing therapists to focus on patient-centered care. The organization emphasizes protecting therapy time, respecting clinical judgment, and fostering a stable, family-oriented culture. Care decisions are guided by outcomes and patient needs. Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization with 12 facilities across Ohio and South Carolina.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current PT license or license-eligible
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide physical therapy services focused on restoring mobility, strength, function, and independence
Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention
Supervise and collaborate with PTA staff as applicable
Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
