About The Position
The Physical Therapist will primarily perform evaluations in an inpatient acute care setting, with an expectation of completing one evaluation per hour. The PT is also responsible for daily treatments, with an expectation of 10 completed treatments in an 8-hour shift.
Requirements
- Must have a valid BLS Certification.
- License to Submit is required.
- New grads with strong clinical background will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in adult acute care, including trauma and critical care, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments for acute care patients.
- Provide mentorship and precepting as needed by the unit.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech EMR system.
- Alternate holiday coverage and occasional weekend shifts with compensatory days provided.
