About The Position

Kona Medical Consulting and Springboard Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join their collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Requirements

• Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist.
• Experience or strong interest in working with children aged 0-21.
• Creative, curious, team-oriented, and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), NMES, FES, whole body vibration therapy, and gait training.
• Familiarity with conditions such as developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, and other complex neurological needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric physical therapy services focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment.
• Implement specialized programs for children with complex neurological profiles, utilizing tools such as Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and speech therapists for co-treatments and idea sharing.
• Utilize a variety of equipment and tools, including gyms, swings, vibration boards, gait trainers, and playrooms.
• Engage in professional and personal growth through mentorship and learning opportunities.
