About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes in and around Kailua, HI. We offer multiple employment structures including PRN, part-time W-2 with benefits, and full-time options with salary, W-2 per-visit, or 1099 contractor models. Full-time Physical Therapists under the 1099-tiered compensation model can earn up to $145,000 annually, based on visit volume. This role allows for individualized care without the double-booking, productivity quotas, and clinic burnout common in traditional outpatient settings. As a Physical Therapist with Stern at Home Therapy, you will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric patient population in their homes throughout the Kailua area.

Requirements

An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Hawaii is required.
Reliable transportation required.
Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy.
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall function.
Complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team.
Coordinate with our administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
Manage your caseload based on your availability and employment structure.
