Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center, a 118 bed skilled nursing facility located in Natick, MA, is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center has been deeply rooted in the MetroWest community for over 25 years with a reputation for providing high quality care. This facility is situated in a beautiful setting with modern updates to the property and state of the art short term rehab unit and therapy gym.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science , Master of Science or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current professional licensure in the state of hire.
  • At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist working with adults.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, Organizational and analytical skills required.
  • Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize independent and effective clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Orthopedic and manual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Screens patients according to policy.
  • Evaluates patients and develops appropriate plan of treatment.
  • Under a physicians order, provides evaluation and direct patient treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
  • Contributes to the interdisciplinary team meeting/process.
  • Consults with and trains patients, families and caregivers.
  • Maintains productivity expectations on an ongoing basis.
  • Documents treatment according to company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
  • Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, caregivers, team members and supervisor.
  • Promotes positive customer relations.
  • Participates in clinical program development and implantation.
  • Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities.
  • Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to patients, families, caregivers, visitors, physician, administrators and other team members.
  • Delivers services in compliance with the facilities ethical standards, policy and procedure, national professional standards, state practice acts where applicable, and current accepted state of the art practice.
  • Tasks and duties as assigned by the Rehabilitation Manger or Administrator as needed.
