Physical Therapist – Pediatrics

About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with a strong interest in pediatrics to join an outpatient clinic in Sioux City, Iowa. The role serves pediatric and, as applicable, adult patients. The successful candidate will provide individualized, skilled physical therapy and help develop and expand pediatric services within the clinic. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required, and resources and organizational support are available to help the clinician grow their pediatric expertise.

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist.
Strong interest in working with pediatric patients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Commitment to continued professional development and learning.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
Pediatric Physical Therapy experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric and adult patients, as applicable.
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions based on patients’ developmental, functional, and medical needs.
Treat pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
Incorporate play, movement, and age-appropriate activities into therapy sessions.
Develop patient-centered treatment plans focused on functional improvement and meaningful goals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
Build strong relationships with patients and families through compassionate, individualized care.
Contribute to the growth and development of pediatric services within the outpatient practice.
