About The Position
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements medically prescribed treatment programs to help patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level role involves independent operations and the use of discretion and good judgment to ensure high-quality therapeutic care. The position is per diem, with day shifts and a weekend rotation, providing sick and vacation coverage.
Requirements
- Successfully complete the state board examination.
- Hold a current license to practice physical therapy in Washington State.
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing orthopedic, neurologic, or cardiac patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations.
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, and modify plans based on patient needs and response to treatment.
- Provide treatment interventions to outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Communicate with patients, peers, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care.
