About The Position

PruittHealth Barnwell is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve greater independence. The role provides therapy services in a post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy setting, with a focus on exceptional patient outcomes and clinical excellence. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The position is available full-time, part-time, or PRN, and offers a stay-and-earn sign-on bonus of up to $8,000.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Improve patients’ strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
