About The Position

NovaCare in Laurel, Maryland, is looking for experienced outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapists for per diem (PRN) coverage. This opportunity is a great fit for a 2+ years of experience outpatient PT who wants flexibility and a strong work–life balance. We’ll align our PG County coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that truly works for you. You’ll work with a diverse orthopedic population and have access to a variety of specialty areas across our outpatient network. Each location includes experienced, supportive clinicians eager to collaborate and help you continue to grow your skill set while making a meaningful impact in our shared communities. NovaCare's 50+ standalone OP centers all use the same EMR, with consistent volume expectations and patient-centered, ethical practice. We are unable to consider new graduate physical therapists for per diem/ PRN opportunities. You’ll treat a diverse patient population across conditions such as: General Orthopedics Sports Injuries Neurological Rehabilitation Vestibular & Concussion Care Prosthetics & Orthotics Amputee Rehabilitation Oncology (ReVital) & Lymphedema Pediatrics Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) Post-Offer Employment Testing (POETs) ACL Rehabilitation Fall Prevention Programs

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
• Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
• Participate in team meetings
