About The Position
Join Iowa Home Care as a Physical Therapist and make a meaningful impact in the Marshalltown community. We believe care is best delivered at home. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide in-home evaluations, treatments, and education to help patients improve strength, mobility, safety, and independence. You will collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. We offer both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

- Community/home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive in-home physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, and safety
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, gait training, transfer training, and pain management
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and equipment use
- Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and case managers to coordinate care
- Document all patient visits, progress notes, and care plans in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate changes in condition or concerns to the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote independence and ongoing improvement through compassionate, patient-centered care
