About The Position

Helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery, suffered an injury, are recovering from serious illness or are coping with a chronic condition. Uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient. Follow physician's prescription and provide a comprehensive evaluation, work on-on-one with patient, following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Requirements

• 1 year of current Physical Therapist experience
• Willing to work with primarily inpatients and then outpatient and LTC
• Must have own transportation
• Bachelors Degree in PT or equivalent
• PT License for State of MI
• BLS Certifications from AHA

Nice To Haves

• Travel contracts experience
