About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team in Harrisonburg, VA. This role operates on a 7 on/7 off schedule and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions. The Physical Therapist will also provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers, and supervise identified team members.

Requirements

• Physical Therapy License (Required)
• 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.

Nice To Haves

• Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred.
• Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree (For Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
• Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
