Requirements

Valid Ohio state licensure as a Physical Therapist or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Ohio license.
Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy education program.
Subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam.
Fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
Proven experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work some weekday hours, with availability to accommodate various needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compassionate approach to resident care and a commitment to improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to residents, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and document residents’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
