This is a full-time Physical Therapist position in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary conditions. The therapist will establish and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include documentation, billing, and maintaining productivity standards. The position also involves patient discharge planning, including home programs and patient education. The therapist will utilize various manual techniques, modalities, and exercise equipment, while adhering to safety and infection control measures. Participation in performance improvement activities, caseload management, and orientation of new staff are also expected. The role may involve supervising physical therapy assistants, extenders, and students. New graduates are welcome, and interest in pelvic health is a plus but not required. The position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and offers clinical mentorship and continuing education. While the vast majority of hours are in an outpatient setting, there is a requirement for acute hospital coverage on weekends (typically 3-4 weekends per year, including up to 1 holiday).
