About The Position

Premier Skilled Nursing Rehab in a Luxury Life Plan Community (CCRC). Our residents are motivated, engaged, and focused on recovery—and your role as a Physical Therapist is central to helping them regain strength, independence, and confidence. Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Skilled Nursing (SNF) rehab team at John Knox Village. This position is ideal for therapists who enjoy: Medically complex patients, Short-term rehab and discharge planning, Interdisciplinary collaboration, Practicing at the top of their license. You’ll work in a well-resourced SNF within a luxury CCRC, offering stability, clinical variety, and supportive infrastructure—not a revolving-door environment.

Requirements

• Current Florida Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Interest or experience in Skilled Nursing / post-acute rehab
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork mindset
• Passion for helping older adults recover and regain independence

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, outcomes-driven rehabilitation
• Help patients regain strength, independence, and confidence
• Work with medically complex patients
• Engage in short-term rehab and discharge planning
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Help patients transition safely from SNF to home or lower levels of care
• Build strong partnerships with nursing, physicians, and care managers
