About The Position

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide home health care to patients with physical impairments. The role uses physical modalities to help patients improve mobility, function, independent self-care, and other skills needed for daily living. Specialty programs include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and Total Shoulder Replacement.

The Physical Therapist provides skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches family members and other members of the health care team. Services are delivered in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

Requirements

• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Possess automobile liability insurance.
• Wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
• Have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Hold a current license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities.
• Help patients improve mobility, function, independent self-care, and other skills needed for daily living.
• Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services.
• Teach family members and other members of the health care team.
• Provide services in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
