About The Position

Reporting directly to the Senior Physical Therapist, the Staff Physical Therapist treats, by physical therapy, those patients assigned to the senior therapist and directs, guides and evaluates physical therapy students. Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
  • Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
  • Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required
  • Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments
  • Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach
  • Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment
  • Ability to plan, organize & prioritize work in collaboration with others
  • Initiative & judgment to plan implement/modify treatment programs for clients
  • Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner
  • Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues
  • Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
