About The Position

The Physical Therapist works in ProHealth Care’s inpatient therapy department, primarily at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Staff train to work at all three hospitals: Waukesha Memorial, Oconomowoc Memorial, and Mukwonago. The department provides inpatient rehabilitation for patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, and medical diagnoses, and its three locations complete more than 2,000 inpatient visits monthly.

The position is part-time at 0.80 FTE, with benefits. Business hours range from 0700 to 1900 depending on site and staffing needs; the typical schedule is 0800 to 1630. Regular weekend and holiday work is required. Staff may pick up additional hours toward a full-time FTE.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Current Wisconsin Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification, or ability to obtain it upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of related therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals referred for physical therapy services.
• Establish a physical therapy diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment.
• Reassess the ongoing effects of treatment.
• Collaborate with and provide consultation to others in care delivery.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and aides.
