Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide home-based care. The Physical Therapist examines and treats patients with physical impairments using physical modalities, with the goal of improving mobility, function, independent self-care, and other skills needed for daily living. Specialty programs include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and Total Shoulder Replacement. The Physical Therapist administers skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches family members and other members of the health care team. Services are delivered in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director. The role requires state licensure and reliable transportation for driving in varied weather conditions.
Requirements
- Possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Possess automobile liability insurance.
- Wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
- Have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- Be currently licensed in the state of employment.
Responsibilities
