About The Position

The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and assesses the needs of referred patients and formulates treatment plans in a home care environment. The PT provides therapy services defined in treatment plans while working cooperatively with physicians and case managers. The role includes a variety of tasks and encourages a degree of creativity and latitude. The coverage area includes areas surrounding Austin, including ZIP codes 78741 and 78742.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate, Master's, or Doctorate program in Physical Therapy.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
• Two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and organization.
• Valid CPR certification obtained in person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Community or home health experience is preferred.
